Now how about this.
I am sitting at home on my birthday when the phone rings. Normally I will just let it ring, I get so many robo calls, but I decide to answer it. A voice from the past in the person of Gerry Dawes is calling to wish me a Happy Birthday. Now Gerry I have known for many years from my Solera days. He is a well respected writer on food, wine, culture and travel especially with respect to Spain and founder of The Spanish Artisan Wine and Spirits Group.

Long story short, he is asking me if I would like to come on his radio show (Gerry Dawes and Friends)
and talk about my pottery and my restaurant career. Like all of
you reading this he is on my mailing list and thankfully, following
along on my new endeavor. He explains what he does on the show, special
guest, talk about food, featured recipe, tasting wine, playing music,
etc. I mention that I am also a musician and could I add some
compositions to the mix. He agrees and, so do I.
It’s
not everyday that you have an opportunity to reach a wider audience and
a spot on public radio certainly is a wonderful birthday gift not many
people are fortunate to get. Thank You Gerry!
